For those dancing in the Showcase: You can CLICK HERE OR ON THE FLYER ABOVE TO DOWNLOAD & PRINT OUT our 2017 Summer Showcase Flyer & Entry Form (One per Dance, please). It contains all the information for those dancing in the Showcase. Just fill out a separate copy of the Form for each Entry (one for each dance you will do), both of you sign it, and turn it in at the Front Desk in the Ballroom, along with your entry fees ($50 per couple for your first entry; $30 per couple for second entry). Each couple is permitted up to two Entries. Entry Forms are due by June 9. Entries received after June 10 are subject to a $10 late fee.
Performances should be choreographed to a specific piece of music, include an opening, a musical finish, and should not exceed 2.5 minutes in duration. If you have more than one entry, each song MUST be on a separate CD. Please deliver your CDs to the DJ booth upon our arrival to help make the evening run efficiently.

Join us for this spectacular evening of dancing and entertainment as we showcase some of our most admired talents in student/teacher partnerships, and amateur couples.
The skillful performances at our Showcases by all levels of dancers have historically been known to invoke tears, laughter, amazement, delight and a heightened sense of appreciation for the hard work and dedication our dancers have invested in the art form we call Ballroom Dancing.
6:00 PM – Social Dancing Starts. Warm up the dance floor with some of the greatest dance tunes, grab a snack from the kitchen, and something from our beer, wine and coffee bar including cappuccino, late or espresso before the Showcase performances kick off.
7:30 PM – Showcase Starts. Enjoy a fantastic show with some general dance breaks for you to stretch your legs and dance. Invite your family and friends to join you in the making of another magical evening at Goldcoast Ballroom! Our Summer Showcase performances are normally separated into two sections with social dancing in between, as well as afterward. It is suggested that you make your seating reservations in advance to be seated at the best table possible.
We are proud to have world renowned coach and adjudicator Rufus Dustin critiquing all performances at our Summer Showcase!
