Every Thursday night, Paolo & Liene teach a one-hour Intermediate/ Advanced class in one of the five International Standard ballroom dances.
Each month they teach a new routine in one of the five International Standard dances — Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, and Quickstep. For more information about this style of dancing and the other styles of dancing, see our Resources/ Learn About Dance page.
The admission for this one-hour class is only $15.00 per person, and includes the Supervised Practice session following the class. During the one-hour Supervised Practice Session, students have the opportunity to practice the routine learned in class. Liene and Paolo dance with the students, and the students dance with each other.
The practice session usually also includes a “Five-Dance” simulated competition in which student couples can perform their own routines in all five of the International Standard dances, complete with walking on the floor properly, performing each dance, bows, and applause. When time permits, the “Five-Dance” becomes a “Ten-Dance,” including also the five International Latin dances. It is lots of fun!
The admission for the one-hour class (including the structured practice session after the class) is only $15.00 per person.
