The Goldcoast Ballroom 2013 Holiday Showcase that took place at Goldcoast Ballroom on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 was a Spectacular evening of dancing and entertainment. It showcased some of our most admired talents in student/teacher partnerships, amateur couples, and polished dance troupes.

The following text is from our original article announcing the Showcase, before it took place:
Social dancing begins at 6:00 PM, and the Showcase begins at 7:30 PM.
Spectator admission is $20.00. Be sure to reserve your seats for this exciting event far in advance, while they last!

The skillful performances at our Showcases by all levels of dancers have historically been known to invoke tears, laughter, amazement, delight and a heightened sense of appreciation for the hard work and dedication our dancers have invested in the art form we call Ballroom Dancing.
6:00 PM – Social Dancing Starts. Warm up the dance floor with some of the greatest holiday dance tunes, grab a snack from the kitchen, and something cold from our beer and wine bar before the Showcase performances kick off.
7:30 PM – Showcase Starts. Enjoy a fantastic show with some general dance breaks for you to stretch your legs and dance. Invite your family and friends to join you in the making of another magical evening at Goldcoast Ballroom! It is suggested that you make your seating reservations as far in advance as possible.
If you want to perform in the Showcase
If you want to perform in the Showcase – either with your instructor or as an amateur couple – there is still time to sign up. Just click on the flyer below to print out the Entry Form (please print in Landscape). Each couple is limited to two entries. The first entry is $50 per couple, and the second entry is $30. EACH ENTRY MUST BE SUBMITTED ON A SEPARATE ENTRY FORM. Entries received after December 10th are subject to a $10 late fee.

Again, to Perform in this year’s Holiday Showcase, please CLICK ON THE ABOVE FLYER TO PRINT OUT THE ENTRY FORM. PLEASE PRINT IN LANDSCAPE. Complete, sign, and return each Entry Form to Goldcoast Ballroom no later than December 10th.
Please print your names and entry information neatly, as you would like them to appear in the program. Both dancers in each couple must sign at the bottom of each Entry Form.
Again, each couple is limited to two entries. The first entry is $50 per couple, and the second entry is $30. EACH ENTRY MUST BE SUBMITTED ON A SEPARATE FORM. Performances should be choreographed to a specific piece of music, include an opening, a musical finish, and should not exceed 2:30 minutes in duration. Keeping the HOLIDAY THEME is always a plus! If you have more than one entry, each song MUST be on a separate CD. Please deliver your CDs to the DJ booth upon your arrival to help make the evening run efficiently.
