Diana Rose

Diana Rose (nee Heilig)Diana Rose (nee Diana Heilig) teaches Latin and Ballroom dancing.

Diana began dancing at an early age, studying tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. While attending Dillard High School for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, FL she also began teaching at various dance schools. From there Diana went on to study at New World School for the Arts in Miami.

In 1998 she found ballroom dance and her world would soon change. Diana competed in every major dance competition in the Latin division for the next 7 years, and won numerous awards including Harvest Moon Champion, Indiana’s Professional Rising Star Champion, as well as being a finalist in many others.

In 2003, Diana and her partner finished 3rd out of 50,000 competitors on ABC Family’s Dance Fever reality show.

In 2004 Diana helped institute a ballroom dance program for the Chicago Public School System inspired by the documentary “Mad Hot Ballroom.”

Today she continues on her dance journey; teaching, competing, learning, and inspiring others.
