The Goldcoast Ballroom Formation Team, under the direction of Liene Di Lorenzo, traditionally performs a medley of International Standard, American Smooth, and Show Dance numbers at our December Showcase, and also at our year-end Holiday Parties.
The Team always receives thunderous applause, and it’s lots of fun, and a chance to learn great new choreography.

The 2018 Formation Team will perform at the Goldcoast Ballroom Holiday Showcase on December 15, 2018. The title and theme of this year’s performance will be “Carmen!” Don’t miss it!
Formation Team members (as well as other dancers performing in the Formation Team segment of the Showcase) will be required to participate in the December 15, 2018 Showcase performance, and to attend
- Two full “Cue to Cue Dress Rehearsals” for the Showcase:
On Sundays, December 2 and 9 – 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
$7.50 per person for each Rehearsal

If you are part of the Formation Team and attend the Formation Team Class, you can also come earlier for Liene & Paolo’s Class on Dance Competitions (Ballroom and Latin Rounds) from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and stay the whole evening (6:30 PM – 10:00 PM) – for only $35.00 per person for all three classes taught by Liene & Paolo on the same night! This includes:
- The Competition Class & Rounds – 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM;
- The Training & Technique for Ballroom Dancing Class – 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM, with included practice session 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM;
- The Formation Team Class – 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM (open to members of the Formation Team only); and
- Supervised Practice Session – 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM (included with any of the above classes on the same night).
$15.00 per Class; or
$25.00 per person for any two classes on the same night; or
$35.00 per person for all three classes on the same night!
