The Goldcoast Ballroom Formation Team, under the direction of Liene Di Lorenzo, traditionally performs a medley of International Standard, American Smooth, and Show Dance numbers at our December Showcase, and also at our year-end Holiday Parties.
The Team always receives thunderous applause, and it’s lots of fun, and a chance to learn great new choreography.

The 2017 Formation Team will perform at the Goldcoast Ballroom Holiday Showcase on December 16, 2017. The title and theme of this year’s performance will be “Welcome to the ball!” Don’t miss it!
Formation Team members (as well as other dancers performing in the Formation Team segment of the Showcase) will be required to participate in the December 16, 2017 Showcase performance, and to attend
- Two full “Cue to Cue Dress Rehearsals” for the Showcase:
On Sundays, December 3 and 10 – 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
$7.50 per person for each Rehearsal

If you are part of the Formation Team and attend the Formation Team Class, you can stay for the very popular Group Class on Training & Technique for Ballroom Dancing with Liene & Paolo Di Lorenzo (8:30 PM – 9:30 PM) and the included Supervised Practice Session (9:30 PM – 10:00 PM). The cost for the two classes on the same night is only $25.00! See our Calendar for more details on the Training & Technique for Ballroom Dancing class.
You can also come earlier for the Class on Dance Competitions (Ballroom and Latin Rounds) from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and stay the whole evening (6:30 PM – 10:00 PM) – for only $35.00 per person for all three classes taught by Liene & Paolo on the same night! This includes:
- The Competition Class & Rounds – 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM;
- The Formation Team Class – 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM (open to members of the Formation Team only); and
- The Training & Technique for Ballroom Dancing Class – 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM, with included practice session 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
Only $35.00 per person for all three classes on the same night!
